Grammy winnaar Mike Farris heeft een dijk van een stem en mixt blues, soul, americana en gospel in zijn muziek. Zijn stem doet je soms denken aan die van Al Green, Sam Cooke of Otis Redding maar zijn muziek is meer veelzijdig. Hij doet alles met enorm veel passie. Niet voor niets won hij in 2015 een Grammy voor zijn geweldige album Shine For All The People. Rolling Stone zei over Mike: “supersized voice filled with the electricity of Saturday night and the godly grace of Sunday mornings.” Mike heeft het talent om ook songs van andere artiesten helemaal eigen te maken zo ging zijn versie van Mary Gauthier’s Mercy Now ook echt door merg en been. Verder wordt Mike door collega’s ook bijzonder gewaardeerd en werkte hij ook samen met o.a. Joe Bonamassa en Jo Harman en zong hij ook mee op Patty Griffin’s Downtown Church.

Wij zijn uiteraard zeer verheugd dat wij Mike Farris, een heuse Grammy Winnaar bij ons mogen aankondigen. Het wordt een duo concert. Wie Farris meeneemt is op dit moment nog onduidelijk en wordt later aangekondigd.
